Carlo Ancelotti's men lost home and away to United in the Champions League quarter-finals last month but momentum is now on their side after four consecutive wins.
"I think Manchester United will be facing a stronger Chelsea team than the one they faced in the Champions League," Terry said. "We go into the game really fresh, with a full squad of players and full of belief as well.
The Blues skipper reckons the prospect of facing Carlo Ancelotti's superstar strikers is terrifying rivals.
And JT believes Didier Drogba, Fernando Torres, Nicolas Anelka, Florent Malouda and Salomon Kalou will even have United running scared ahead of Sunday's title decider at Old Trafford.
Terry said: "It can be pretty daunting for opponents when they see us bringing on players like Nando, Didier, Nico, Sala or Florent.
"Those front five are so important to everything we are doing at the moment.
"Whoever plays up front is stepping up to the mark and for us to have a chance of winning the title we need those big guys always ready.
"Three lads start the game and the other two usually come on at some stage but there's no arguing among the players and no disappointment.
